Welcome to VIXON Dog First Aid
VIXON Dog First Aid specialises in fun, interactive and most importantly, useful first aid courses for dog owners and people providing services for dogs. We’re an approved ProTraining centre offering online dog first aid and practical classroom based courses. We’re also one of the only first aid providers in the UK that run outdoor focused dog first aid courses for dogs who enjoy adventures outside, whether that be at the beach, in the mountains, on the river or simply working in the fields! Although other instructors may contribute to our courses, the instruction for VIXON Dog First Aid is principally undertaken by Louise Ansell and Zara.
Meet the VIXON Dog Zara (& Louise)
Zara is a two year old rescue dog from Spain. She was brought back to the UK with us in the Spring of 2016 and has been strutting her stuff on VIXON courses since. As well as being super cute, she is also pretty nifty at helping to demonstrate first aid techniques! So when you book a practical classroom course with us, she is likely to be there helping Louise with the coaching.
Zara likes: tummy rubs, fish and long runs
Zara dislikes: loud noises and crashing waves
Louise Ansell has over 20years of professional coaching and teaching experience, a range of high level instructing qualifications and specialist knowledge of first aid, pet first aid and advanced outdoor first aid. As well as VIXON Dog First Aid she also runs VIXON Climbing providing climbing and hill walking skills coaching and outdoor first aid courses (for humans!).
Louise likes: adventure sports, travelling, and helping people to develop new skills
Louise dislikes: horseradish sauce and pessimism
